Attack and Defense Calculations (For Reference)

regular attack:
(speed + tai attack + endurance) = Attack Quotient
Takes 2% SP

Chakra attack (nin/gen users):
(speed + tai attack + nkn/gen attack) x 1.2 = Attack Quotient
Takes 2% CP

Elemental attack (tai users):
(speed + tai attack) x 1.1-1.9* = Attack Quotient

*this number will vary according to opponent resistance or weakness to the element with 1.5 being the standard multiplier.*

Weapon Attacks
(speed + weapon attack) x df = Attack Quotient
Takes 3-5% SP based on weapon

Jutsu Attacks
(gen/nin/tai attack) x SF = Attack Quotient

Weapon Jutsu Attacks
(Wepon Attack + DF) x SF = Attack Quotient


Defending

Regular Defense
(Tai/nin/gen/weapon defense + agility) = Defense Quotient

Jutsu Defense
(Tai/nin/gen/weapon defense + agility + speed) = Defense Quotient

Defending with a Weapon
(Tai/nin/gen/weapon defense + agility) x df/2 = Defense Quotient


Damage Calculation:
Attack Quotient - Defense Quotient = Damage

If defense is greater, the attacker will miss.

NOTE:

When calculating sp or cp loss, make sure you take the percentage off the character's total cp/sp, not the current amount.

NOTE:

shuriken and kunai have a DF of 1.5
